The vibe is great!
The appetisers were excellent! (we had smoked Oysters, turmeric mustard pickles and mushrooms)
Drinks were good.
But the mains were a let down, especially the dry rubbery pork belly. Hence the 4 stars. If I were to visit Hobart again, will go to Frank’s again and order something else.
The food was pretty good, but was relatively pricey for what was a really small portion for some dishes. The hanger steak was definitely a standout though - great cook with killer sauces.

Had a really fantastic meal with the family. Two top steaks cooked perfectly, pork belly and market fish. The potato side was so delicious and a favourite of the table. The raw tuna starter also a favourite. Really delicious meal, fantastic friendly staff. Was pricey but as expected going in and was well worth the price.
13pp 60th birthday, impeccable service, great cocktails and sensational food for lunch. Thanks so much for hosting today, ample food with consideration for our vegetarian diners. Well worth it.

Wonderful restaurant! Beautiful setting, friendly service, and the drinks and food was delicious. Every dish was a taste sensation and the meat was done perfectly. A must do in Hobart!
This place is amazing!
We had the hanger steak with a bunch of sides and snacks, and the fire roasted nduja oysters.

Perfect. Service was good. Restaurant was fairly busy but good still arrived in good time. Steak was tasty, sauces excellent and sides were [chefs kiss]
Steak tastes so delicious, lamb shoulder is very soft and tasty, baked potatoes are also very crispy and soft on the inside.
